I believe am having the same sort of problem as jeffrios. When I log into my cpanel at:
http://72.232.204.42:2082/

It displays the server IP address as 72.232.204.42 and the server name as "server". When I log in at this location the bandwidth meter and awstats don't work as they show no traffic at all.

However, when I log into my cpanel at:
http://hjproductions.org:2082

It doesn't display an IP Address in the general account information box. The server name also displays as " absolut" rather than "server". When I click the "Web/FTP Stats" under this login it displays options to use "Analog" or "Webalizer". Awstats ceases to exist when I log in at this location.

Thanks in advance. http://hjproductions.org:2082/

I think my database is mesed up, because the DB size is different from what it used to be. Also, I cant access my forum or a server status script because they both require Zend Optimizer. So, could the Zend Optimizer please be installed?

Thanks.

i got that error plz help me
Zend Optimizer not installed

This file was encoded by the Zend Encoder / Zend SafeGuard Suite
In order to run it, please install the freely available Zend Optimizer, version 2.1.0 or later.
What is the Zend Optimizer?

The Zend Optimizer is one of the most popular PHP plugins for performance-improvement, and has been freely available since the early days of PHP 4. It improves performance by taking PHP's intermediate code through multiple Optimization Passes, which replace inefficient code patterns with efficient code blocks. The replacement code blocks perform exactly the same operations as the original code, only faster.
In addition to performance-improvement, the Zend Optimizer also enables PHP to transparently load files encoded by the Zend Encoder or Zend SafeGuard Suite.
The Zend Optimizer is a freely-available product from Zend Technologies. Zend Technologies is the company that develops the scripting engine of PHP, also known as the Zend Engine.

Yes i seem to have that problem as well if you use edit file or html editor in cpanel it does not save the changes for some reason :dunno: the only way i could edit any of my pages was to do the changes in dreamweaver on my pc then re upload to the srver and overwrite the old file.

I have a CMS that I am building that requires the httpd server to have permissions to write to various directories, as the CMS works using flat files rather than a database. On the old server, The CMS worked with permissions 755 - as if the httpd daemon used my creditentials to access/write files.

Since the move, my site doesn't work properly with permissions of 755. I have to change the permissions to an unsecure 777 (both files and directories) in order for my CMS to run.

So, My question is thus, will the new server's httpd daemon eventually be able to read/write files with permissions of 755? If not, is there a way through cpanel to bulk change permissions of a directory and all files under that directory? I can do it from the command prompt by executing chmod -R 777 directory/, but I don't have ssh/telnet access.

I got it.. my site is working. I thank you for your assistance, and Props to Corey for all his hard work. We can't thank you enough!

Hi there,

username: mjjos
subdomain: webchef.x10hosting.com
Site IP on ping: 64.92.165.74

Im using joomla! cms version 1.0.11 on my site, which is installed in the public_html directory, and a phpbb forum which is in the a public_html/forum directory. Whenever I try to go to the homepages of either of them (index.php) on both of them, I get an error mesage:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.webchef.x10hosting.com Port 80

and in the case of the forum, the directory given is forum/index.php, but it is the same message to both of them.I have checked all my permissions and they are all correct. Im using smart ftp client, and I looked at the overall permissions of my subdomain in the navigation window, and there where no permissons given, it was chmoded to 0. So I tried "Site CHMODing" as smart ftp put it, the subdomain to 777, and this is what it says in the window: 550 SITE CHMOD: No file name

So I think its my overall site permissions thar are causing this problem. I have no idea how to change them. I will be grateful for any help I can get.

Thanks,

MJJOS.

Now, torchsdomain.com is on 64.92.165.74 and it's working properly. But my parked domain, sigchatservice.com is gone from my account, I can't re-add it and is resolved to 72.232.204.42

Thanks :)

My awstats and my bandwith moniter do not have any values for them, they are at 0. Are my stats files corrupt?
Also I am trying to make a public ftp account, I am using this address to login:
ftp.survivorstuff.x10hosting.com
But I am getting a Error 421 "Unable to set up anoynamous ftp"

It's possible the stats were lost, I can recopy your account if you want. Let me know.

Regarding the FTP sounds like a normal problem and not an issue caused by the move, please post this in a support thread.

Hi,
Here's my account info:
Username: yahia
Domain: yahia.exofire.net

I was able to access everything in the site for the past 30 minutes, but now, everything is down again.
Strangely, I can always access my sybdomain antiblog.yahia.exofire.net [not because I have it cached locally, I checked] and that's all. No CPanel, no antiblog.yahia.exofire.net/sub_folder .. nothing: not even the domain, yahia.exofire.net.

Another strange thing is that when I try to load antiblog.yahia.exofire.net/sub_folder (any folder under that domain), it just gives me a blank page withe the URL in the window title.

I de- and re-connected my oruter but nothing has changed.
help..

Try clearing your cache, restarting, etc... I can get to all the above domains fine.
