I can send an email from my *****@voidnet.net account to myself, but when I use my hotmail account to send a message to my *****@voidnet.net account, it says that it is getting rejected by the server. I am unable to receive any and all email.

Are you guys having problems with the email server(s)???

PLEASE HELP!!

Thanks in advance!

Did you change your MX servers? Could you post the specific error code as well?

I filled out a ticket prior to posting on here, but I had not received a response as to what all was going on with it so I figured that maybe I should have just directed it on here.

However, I was not getting that error code??

Agreed...... I am sneaky LMAO.......... seriously though I agree, submit a ticket and get the admin's to figure out whats going on cos this could become a serious problem for them later if more and more people are becoming affected...

BTW what server are you on? I'm on Lotus now but my friend who's on stoli does not yet appear to be affected! And since Lotus seems to be suicidal at best I'm wondering if it may be in someway jinxing us all hahaha

and voidnet99...... not getting that error code?!?!?!?!?! explain cos from previous post it seems you were lol

I'm sure you'll see a server alert sometime in the near future with the fix for it. There's been a lot of tickets submitted with the same issue. Unfortunately, this error really looks tricky. I've done a little bit of digging on google, but I haven't found any real answers.

My guess is there's something broken in the mail system. You can use google apps to get your mail hosted elsewhere. I've used that and it is a very nice system.

Yes. Google apps only changes who handles your mail, not what your mail address is. It's like using Fedex or UPS; you send packages the same way, just the person carrying changes.

And it's free!

I have a tutorial on it somewhere, I'll try to dig it up while you decide.
Edit:
Well, I can't find the tutorial, but here's the information:

On your cpanel do this: http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/97670-setup-sub-domains.html#post542097

On google apps: verify your domain using the HTTP method.

Wait a few hours...MX records take a little while to update across the entire world wide web.

Check for the change here: http://www.mxtoolbox.com/

Ha, glad to hear it!

Google apps is absolutely terrific even if X10 was working flawlessly, so I think this is a good solution :)
