Well...my websites domain is 'currently available', my cPanel login attempt failed, and on the account page I get: there was an error retrieving your account's hosting type from the backend system.

Tried on IE and Firefox, same junk with each browser. I also flushed my DNS cache.

URL = http://www.rockraiderontheweb.pcriot.com
Hosting type: Corporate
cPanel user name: same as forum name

Your cPanel username was not "rockraider", it was "J14S".
How much time has it been since you last logged into the forums?

Was...I recently had to restart my account due to problems with MySQL and I chose a different name.

I'm not sure...it hasn't been that long...and even I had been away for over 2 weeks, it would have said something about it being suspended, not currently availible.

Update: Account reset occured on 02-28-2008. I have logged in since then.

I couldn't find any track of the hosting account: "rockraider" ever existed. We have logs with account suspensions and terminations, and your account doesn't show in any of this.

Are you sure this is the cPanel username?

EDIT: Actually, there's no way it could have been "rockraider", as cPanel usernames have a limit of 8 characters. Check your mails for your welcome mail to see the correct cPanel username if you can't remember it.

Oh I think I know now...try removing the vowels from my name. (rckrcr)
Why 'rockraider' worked when I logged into my account panel is beyond me then...

When you login to your AMP (http://x10hosting.com/account), you should do it with your FORUM username and password, that's why you were able to login as: rockraider.
When you login to your cPanel, you should use your HOSTING username and password.

I couldn't find "rckrcr" on our records neither.
Your cPanel username is the one you need to use to login to: http://rockraiderontheweb.pcriot.com/cpanel or to login to FTP.

Ooops...my fault...typo...it should be 'rckrdr'. I've tried logging into cPanel multiple times now, and I keep getting 'Login Attempt Failed'.

Ugh...didn't think it was that long ago. Lucky for me I've still got that backup around...
I will sign up again using the same username. When that's done I'd like it if someone could change the URL back to the way it was...again. Once that's done this thing can get locked. Sorry for causing problems.

Well...I can't re-open threads in the Pre-Signup area. So I'm re-opening this one.

I've run into a problem already. I'm trying to log into cPanel but, again, I'm getting Login Attempt Failed. I'm using 'rckrdr' and the password I registered this account with (not my forum password). It doesn't work in Firefox, either.

I was able to log in from the link you gave me. Logging in from rockraiderontheweb.pcriot.com:2082 results in the Login Attempt failed error.

Can you ping rockraiderontheweb.pcriot.com ?
If it doesn't returns the IP: 67.228.161.43, then you need to wait for your DNS to update.

You need to wait for your DNS to update and point the correct IP address. This shouldn't take too much time, maybe some hours.

Right now, rockraider.pcriot.com works...however rockraiderontheweb.pcriot.com doesn't. The domain is 'currently availible'.

Try now.
You may need to clear cache & temp files and make a flush of your DNS again :)

The main page works now, but any subdomains (like the link in my sig) show the 'Domain Availible/404 error'.
Edit:
I've fixed that now. But I'm constantly getting errors from phpBB3 and MediaWiki that look related to PHP versions. (Basic, Inter., Adv...)

When you create a subdomain or an addon domain, you need to wait for the PHP upgrade to update for that subdomains. It may take from 6 to 24hs depending how many applications are pending.
