Hi, I recently installed phpBB3 and it worked fine.

Then I had to reconfigure some of the installation stuff so I just decided to delete the file through cpanel and re-upload it into my public_html folder.

I used filezilla to upload it the first time round so I figured the same method would work fine. After connecting to my ftp server on filezilla it showed that phpBB folder still existed within the public_html.

However it was not showing up on cpanel file manager and the phpbb Admin panel was not accessible either.

I tried deleting the phpbb folder on filezilla and reuploading it but it still doesnt show up on cpanel file manager and i cant access the installation page or phpbb3 Admin panel.

Also tried deleting and remaking the database that phpbb3 used the first time round.

What do i need to do to install phpbb3 again? Is it because i have uninstalled it incorrectly the first time? Why can't i find the folder on cpanel file manager yet i can see it when i connect using filezilla?

Are you using the same url address for ftp client and cpanel login?

anomaly, I think this is due to server move.

Yeh let's hope so, I guess I'll have to wait till all these server upgrades have taken place to find out for sure.
