hi, I created the account on x10hosting, I got it activated... I uploaded my index.html file by all the rules and requirements (control panel-->file manager-->web root) directory... but its not working. I dont get it, why?

You have just created a new account.
In all possibility,the name resolving configuration haven't got updated yet.
This issue usually gets automatically resolved after server refreshes(updates).

So, it should be up in a matter of couple of hours or so.

Meanwhile, you may like to add further contents to your website using cpanel's file manager.
