pschostats installation help for cs

Hi,

I want to hosts my csstats online i did this before in my local machine using wiamp now i want to host here.
I followed the instructions given here http://www.psychostats.com/wiki/Installation_Walkthrough .
I uploaded the upload folder in psychostats using file zilla to my root folder and renamed as csstats.Now in the walkthrough it is given as to run the index.php inside csstats/install/index.php. This is where i got struck i tried to run this in the url as http://jews.x10hosting.com/csstats/install/index.php .
I am getting this message
The requested URL /home/micjews/root/csstats/install/index.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an error document to handle the request.

As i am new to this i am helpless. Please help me to solve this problem.I tried searchin the forums but i dint find the right 1 for me.:happysad:

First i would suggest logging into here http://x10hosting.com/account and upgrading your php to intermediate. The version you have now is Basic PHP.

Hi,

I changed my csstats into public_html and it worked. But as the last step i am getting these error

Fatal error: SUHOSIN - Use of preg_replace() with /e modifier is forbidden by configuration in /home/micjews/public_html/csstats/includes/smarty/Smarty_Compiler.class.php(270) : regexp code on line 270

Now i changed to intermediate still wating for the approval.

It takes 6-12 hours for the upgrade to process.

Hi, thanks for your help now i got installed psychostats but i got struck in editiing the log source. please find the attached screenshot and i hope you could help me.

DBhost should be: localhost for the first image.

For the FTP connection:
-Path should be: /home/micjews/public_html/csstats
-Host should be: 67.228.161.43
-Port should be: 21
-Username & Password should be your cPanel ones.

Hi, I tried that chnge but in the stats .log i get this error.But i cant understand the path
-Path should be: /home/micjews/public_html/csstats . The log file is in my local system but this is not pointing there.Please find the attached screens

The log should be on your webhosting account I think.
You should ask for support to the script creator, and if you need some information about your account (such as IP, port, etc) we can help you. But we don't give support for 3rd party scripts.

Thanks for your help now the log is in /home/micjews/public_html/
but when i run stats.pl from my local computer it gives this error from he log

Before it is not connected now it is connecting but giving this error.Username passsword is correct.or can we can run this stats .pl from x10hosting itself.If so where should i copy this and how to run this.

I am trying different things and i think i almost made it but i need all your help to finish this,

1.
I tried to copy the lib,scripts,stats.cfg and stats.pl to /home/micjews/public_html/scgi-bin and tried changing the dbhost to localhost and the server ip 67.228.161.43. but i get this error when i run from this url
http://jews.x10hosting.com/scgi-bin/perl/stats.pl

2.
NExt i tried to set my system ip to remote sql and tried to run stats.pl from my machine . I think here i got connected with the db. But this time i get a different error

You're trying to connect to the database at x10hosting from your computer?
If yes, you aren't allowed to do this, that's why it's giving you an error. We don't allow remote connections for MySQL. We used to allow this, but we had to disallow this because of abuse & security reasons.

Also i tried to run the stas.pl from the /home/micjews/public_html/scgi-bin l

but i get this error

Is there any other way i can make this all set.

Check & test the permissions for the Perl file, and the folders that contain it.
Check the "Error Log" again.

CGI\Perl files must go in the cgi-bin directory. Not scgi-bin.

Hi, I moved it into perl folder to cgi and gave full permission but it says i dont have access.

You had permission errors.

I changed the file permissions to 755.

You now have a database connection error, check your settings =P

In the stats.cfg i tried giving both localhost and 67.228.167.204 but i get the same error

Try taking the files out of the perl dir and put them directly into the cgi-bin directory.

I edited your post and removed the screen shots as they contained password information.
