Do you ever see the login screen? If not, navigate to http://support.x10hosting.com, login with your forum username and password, and click view open tickets, and see if you can get in that way.

Hello,

Can you login in our support ticket area?
Okay, if you're logged in, maybe your ticket was closed, check your ticket history to confirm, remember you can re-open the itcket if you still have issues.

Your ticket is there. If you still cannot see it it may have been an error. I will continue giving you support for that matter here.

Your site is gone and was terminated for the reason previously mentioned. You are not allowed to host or link to any kind of Warez, it may be true that you had no links of files hosted but the simple fact that you had a section for it suggest you were going to.

In any case there is nothing that you can do but create a new account and restore your site from any backups YOU might have saved.

Regards,

Is this the official policy of x10hosting?

The admins think you might violate the TOS, they will just delete the account?

Why even wait the 10 days? Why allow people to contest suspensions?

I've forwarded a bunch to admins recently that had huge sections of forums devoted to requesting keys/serials/installs/links to paid software. Entire. Sections. Quite well organized too, Windows, Mac, Linux, then in each Programs, Games, Other, etc.

On sites like those, it should be obvious what's about to be trafficked; in one particular case, the title of the forum included "warez" right in the name.

For those:

4. Cancellation & Refunds
x10Hosting reserves the right to cancel any service provided at any time. In this event customers will be entitled to a prorated refund based upon the remaining period of membership. If a customer contravenes x10Hosting's terms of service, a refund will not be issued in the event of a cancellation by x10Hosting or the customer. Any incentives offered to customers when opening the account will also be cancelled. Customers may be given the option to purchase services which were offered as start-up incentives in the result of a cancellation. Fees charged on a prepay basis are non-refundable.
I call it a preemptive strike; if the site is pretty much guaranteed to be trafficking warez in the near future, kill it before x10 has to worry about being blamed for allowing the site to continue.

But on the flip side, there's also been a bunch I think -might- traffick it in the future, but it's not 100% cut and dry that they will be (a freeware software request section on a forum; depending on their definition of freeware it -might- turn into a warez suspension, but REAL freeware is fine), so I didn't forward it.

I guess the official one is if it's obvious what you're planning to do with the site (taken the time to set up that many subforums, put warez right in the board name, etc), x10 has reserved the right to cancel the service at any time, and they're exercising it.

We cannot go into every site and sign up and log in and check if there are links or not, then go check the files, and then determine if the reason it says "Warez" is just because the owner thought it would look good or because the site plans to violate the TOS.

We have a 0 tolerance policy on this and it IS on the Terms of Service. Didn't read them? Not our fault. Don't like them? Don't sign up.
