Purchasing a domain name...

If I were to purchase a domain name to use on my free hosting account how would I set it up correctly? And suggestions on a good place to purchase one?

Also I'm planning on upgrading to x10premium in the near future. Would I be able to safely and easily transfer my files to the premium account along with my newly purchased domain name?

yes

when you open a new Premium account there is a box to check to move your free-hosting account to you new Premium account - the Admins will do it

So I want a blahblah.com instead of using the x10host.com..if I read that correctly I'd use a parked domain and set the nameservers to

• ns1.x10hosting.com
• ns2.x10hosting.com

you would set the DNS-NS records at your new domain provider's (registrar's) Web site - BEFORE you can set it as a 'parked' domain in you account
