hi, i just signed up for free hosting. In my portal, its very hard to place an ad on every page, so im wondering if i can just put the ad code in the footer (it wont show up everywhere)

is this okay?

If you're on an advanced or corporate plan, you MUST have the required ads on every publicly viewable page. Also, the ad must be near the top and clearly visible, so that the user will not have to scroll down to see the ad.

Spartan, i read somewhere, posted by a staff member, that the Advanced ad MUST be visible, but can be anywhere on the page.

If someone other than you is able to view it, then yes it is publicly visible

If ANYONE can see a page on your site, it's considered publicy visible. To clarify:
Corporate ads: Banner ad MUST be completely visible without scrolling
*Advanced ads: Text ad MUST be visible, but may be placed anywhere on the page
*Static ads: No ads necessary.
For the Corporate and Advanced package, each respective ad must be on every one of your publicly viewable page.

*If you display want to display the next packages' up ads instead, you may do so. For example, if you have Advanced and you want to display the Corporate ad, you may do so. However, you may NOT display Advanced ads if you have the Corporate plan. Hope this clarifies everything.

Lol, I did that once, on my intro page, the ad for the advanced plan was at the very bottom, under all my friend's links, but I got banned apparently because a mod didn't see the x10 ad. so I'm not taking any chances.
