I probably missed this somewhere, but I'm curious as to the architecture of the servers. I'm having DB issues today, and come to the forum to see that there are numerous threads about DBs, and that it is a MySQL issue and admins are working on it.

What strikes me as odd is that these issues are on Stoli, Choppin, and the like. I'm on Absolut, and having the same problems

So I guess my question is, is MySQL served on one cluster to service the entire server group, or are there separate MySQL servers per server cluster?

If it is the former, wouldn't it make more sense to serve MySQL separately per server cluster?

It's on 1 server, it's better to have it on a separate server than httpd, as it would keep the load a little bit less (from what I understand). If mySQL were to go down or start to eat up load for some reason, it wont affect those persons who doesn't use mySQL
