Hi. (aio1155.x10.mx)

Here is what I would like to do, then my question.

My brother paid for a domain name for me (very kind of him), and I would like to replace aio1155.x10.mx with the new address.

Question: Is it possible for me to take this new domain name, and replace my current one aio1155.x10.mx with the new one?

I would like to have people who type in the domain name that my brother purchased for me, and have it stay in the address bar.

Cheers...

Yes, You can use your domain as your primary domain

Check How to use your own domain

Hi gsonline.

Thank You very much.

One more quick question. I am looking over on how to do this, and can I damage or accidentally damage my site somehow (I'm not sure what could go wrong, just a bit worried)?

Cheers, and thanks again.

It depends on which cms or blog you are using?

Every blog or CMS software has its own procedure to change their domain URL.

Try to find that first.

One more thing is when you set the name servers for the domain . It may take upto 48 hours to DNS propagate, Till then the site may not be available to some users depends on DNS propagation.

Hi gsonline.

Okay thank you very much. My brother has already done a redirect so I guess that will do for now. I don't want to mess with something before I'm very sure of what I am doing.

Cheers gsonline, and thanks again.
