Question about subdomains

Hi all,

I'm kind of new to the world of web development and networking.
So i'm trying to create a subdomain.
The website I'm hosting is http://technicscolasbelgium.be/
But we have to keep in mind that my hostname isn't bought via X10 hosting, but another company.

Now I want to add a "testing" subdomain so I can navigate to: http://testing.technicscolasbelgium.be/.
But here is the problem, when I create the subdomain and I try so navigate to the page, it tells me there's nothing.
So my question to you guys is, what do I have to add so my subdomain is recognised by the DNS-servers?

I would try:
cPanel
Advanced DNS Zone Editor
Choose your subdomain from the list
Reset Zone File more >>

Check box and reset

I've done the things you said, but there is no change. Does it normally take a while ?

Takes awhile

http://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/testing.technicscolasbelgium.be

shows that the site is now in the system, it just will take time to propagate

It works for me now (flush DNS and clear browser cache).
But it redirects to Google in some funny language.

It works for me too.
Yeah I did a redirect to find the problem so I redirected the page to http://google.be (the Belgian version of Google, in the "Dutch" language).

-- was joking about the "funny language". My Dutch (or French or German or Waloon) ability is non-existant.
Was more of a jab we Americans' mono-linguality.

Don't worry.
The only fun thing about the Dutch language is, when traveling abroud, you can talk about random people without them understanding what you are saying .
