Question On Hosting

In my hosting I was going to make a folder in my hosting directory for my friend so he can upload some of his photos and that to my server. How is it that I make it so that when he goes in to access the folder he needs a password and that but I dont want him gettin my password for the accuall site FTP. Basically I want to make him only able to access his folder and not the rest of the stuff. Thanks in advance

Just go to Cpanel, then to FTP Manager, then to FTP Accounts, click in Add FTP Account, fill the information: login, password, quota in mb, and the name of the directory (existing or non existing), and click create. Your friend will have to enter this way ftp://ftp.yoursite.com, and enter with the following user user@yoursite.com and his/her password; or just this way (easier, I think) ftp://username:password@yourdomain.com, this way it enters automatlicaly.
