questions about ads

I have some doubts about ads:

1. If I upload to my site a web application for administering the website, and it's not linked anywhere on my main website, Do I have to put the ads on it?

2. If I install a web application(such as phpBB or phpMyChat), using CPanel(or Fantastico), does it installs the app with the ads incorporated? Or I have to add them by myself?

1 - If only you can see the page and the public can not then you do not need ad's on the page.

2. No you will need to add the ad's.
