how do I add a forum to my website?

You will probably want to use some kind of forum software, such as myBB, phpBB, or SMF. My personal favorite is myBB but that is just a personal preference and varies person to person. You can install any of those (and some others) using the softaculous quick install feature on x10hosting.

First, go to your web hosing control panel. Then click the green add website button in the top right. Then click on "Software/Script Installer." Use the drop-down menu to select phpBB. Then fill in all the information on the page, such as which domain you want it on, the name of the forum, and the username and password for the admin of the form.
