Random 503 Errors

Whenever I upload or edit my news via WordPress, the whole site goes down for 1-10 minutes just showing a 503 error. I have no idea why this is - even fixing my little typo from "id" to "is" caused it.

I cannot view files, only directory contents.
It's working now but I was wandering if this is a glitch.

Now, I think its when I connect with FTP. Or it was generating a sitemap, but anyway, its down again. Please fix this.

This really is getting annoying, please fix this.

Strange, after we move to LiteSpeed, we get all these problems. Let's go back to Apache or whatever we were using before.
