reciprocal link checker not working.....

i have added a directory to my website and when i tried to submit a website for testing purpose,it showed 'unable to verify the reciprocal link' though i placed the link correctly.i installed another directory script and it too shows the same.

please help me to solve it.
im currently in the intermediate version of php.

In the file manager, open the directory the script is in and see if there is a error_log file. If there is, post the error.

there is no such file as error_log in my file manager

now i uninstalled my old directory script and tried to install phpld.while installing ,it showed this

Server API CGI mode is likely to have problems

further the problem of reciprocal link check still exist
