Hi everyone,

Got a bit of a situation. Spent a long time creating a site on X10 which I one day wanted to export over to a paid host. I didn't use the site often, but every time I received an email saying my account was suspended due to lack of logging in, I made sure to log in and keep it active.

I'm not sure exactly of when the last time I logged in was, but I didn't receive any email from X10 stating anything about my account being suspended or anything. I just tried to log in to X10 now and was told my account no longer exists. I was pretty horrified as I put a lot of work into that site and now it's all completely gone. Does anyone know if there's anything I can do? I'm pretty devastated to be honest. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Ashley

I recall seeing a staff member mention this:

"You'd get a couple inactivity warnings when you are close to not having logged in for 30 days, then a suspension notice after that if you don't login. All accounts that are suspended are purged after roughly 4 weeks (sometimes longer but never shorter)"

Maybe that helps you a bit.
As for retrieving your account i don't think its possible (i may be wrong on that)

I always have a backup on my computer,
then i can FTP between my account and my files.
just a suggestion if you don't do it.

Hi spaceresx, thanks for your reply. I know that is the standard case, but I honestly have never received any email warning me of this situation, not a single one. I did receive emails in the past and immediately logged in to my cpanel to re-activate, but I haven't received any notification this time. Is there any way to contact X10 hosting directly? I've lost a hell of a lot of work, I know I should've had a backup but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
