I am using and have been using Outlook 2007 since day 1. Every now and then I will have a random issue where I cannot send emails from Outlook or my phone. I can successfully reply to emails, but I cannot send NEW emails out. The recipient does not receive them when I send. My settings are correct in Outlook. I can send emails through webmail just fine.
Why does this keep happening? It takes several months for it to be corrected and that is very annoying when trying to send out emails, unless I am replying to someone. I do not bog down the servers with mass emails. We're talking 5ish emails a week or less.
I can receive emails just fine. It is always the SMTP side that stops working. My account has NOT been suspended recently. I did however get an email stating that it was going to be suspended if I didn't log in. I didn't log in over the holidays, so I immediately logged in when I received that email. Ever since, SMTP has not been working.
