Hi

http://www.qualityimagesearch.com/test.php

In order to improve SEO, I have had to re-design my image search engine gallery.

Before I go live, could you give some feedback? (just this page and search results)

I know it works in FF and Chrome but not so sure about the dreaded IE or safari.

Yes, I have done the browsershots thing but I need to know if the interactivity works.

Also, does it still look/behave uniquely and..

..do you like it?

Many thanks

Rich

Can I make a suggestion ... can you put the search element in the left and the results on the right. To me imo it would be like reading a book left to right. It isnt important just more of an aesthetics thing I guess

Not a bad idea - think you're right.

I have other problems though... even IE8 screws up the img span and Android just hates it!

Need to redo all my css.... again!

Thank you.

I've had to re-design the html structure and css to get this to work in IE.

Not tested in <IE8 though so I don't know how it degrades.

Simpler - and now show image rating.

Thanks to those who looked.

Thank you.

Final design has been rolled out across the site.

A nice little overlaid High Definition Symbol on the thumbs for images over a certain size - which i quite like!

@Darkmere - I did try out the switching of images/control panel but TBH, it looked strange when you get the large preview - which feels like it should be on the right.

Any other improvement anyone can think of?
