I created a website when I signed up for this service and specified that my website would be under the /wiki directory of my main website. I thought this would create a redirect to that directory but it didn't. The website still shows as being under /wiki in the my sites section but under the domains tab it says "not redirected" under domain redirection. Could this be changed? Can I have wiki24.x10.mx redirect to the /wiki directory? Thanks.

Hi wiki24x1,

If you want to redirect your main domain to go to /wiki/, you could create a .htaccess file to do so or create a simple HTML file with a "meta" redirect.

Alternatively, you could always move all the files out of "wiki" into the "public_html" folder, as this would mean all the files are sitting on your main domain. :)

Thank you,

I guess that will work. I thought there would be a way to do it from the dashboard. Next request: can I get shell access enabled on my account? I would appreciate it.

I'm afraid we cannot provide shell access to free hosting customers, due to the huge amount of security issues this bears and the amount of abuse this would attract. We offer a free web hosting service, so I trust shell access isn't something that most clients require. Sorry. :(

Okay. I guess I can work with cron jobs. Most hosting services don't offer shell access but your server didn't kick me immediately like most do and said to ask, so I did.
