redirecting my home page

i am having a problem redirecting my home page. i did a simple home page which im now slowly moving to joomla. i would like it to redirect to the joomla index.php but instead it keeps directing me to my old index.htm pg which i am for certain i deleted

Clear your temp files and cache. When I go to your site I see the Joomla page.

im using firefox and im still seeing my old home page? i cleared the cache and cookies and everythign. i did the same thing in ie7 and im still seeing my old home page.

its still not workign with proxy im goign to have to give my laptop a reboot. i am thinking that since im on vista i just simply need a reboot.
