Regarding the back-ups...

Hi

Are the back-ups created before the Apache upgrading deprecated?

This is of importance since I've been experiencing problems with my logging in service... :nuts: (kindly refer to the 3:rd party scripts section/Help!!! I get redirected when logging in to my e107 admin)

Do you think that restoring my environment to any of its prevoius states would be negatively affected by the new Apache configuration?

You can only restore your account if you have a backup yourself.

It seems that my problem has been taken care of since I now can log in :biggrin:

I will now make a NEW FULL BACK-UP!

Yes, it should work. I would suggest that if you website has changed since you have made the backup was made to make anothr backup now and then restore the backup you have. And if it doesn't fix the problem you can restore back to the current one.
