I have a question here.

My school blocks cpanel, and I know soon they will be blocking port 21. Im using it. I could download a virus to the school.

So I made a file editor for those quick idea while im in 1st period.

Current functions:
Edit files

Soon to come:
Create a file
Delete a File
Change Cmod of File

I was just wondering who would want it. And if I see enough want I will post it in the interwebz area.

Only post if you want to use it or have an idea for it.

Web-based, I presume? I probably wouldn't use it becaue that's what an FTP client is for, but you could still make it. When you say edit files, you mean like HTML and PHP (text-based) files?

Just thought I`d ask and its not like every person in the world wouldnt want to do this but why would you want to plant a virus in your school computers, lol. (Just do it to the principle, lol(that was a joke btw)

Well, that's just too bad. Our school used to block this and that, but then after the upgrade the techies were too lazy to put all the blocks in again so now we have pretty much free access.

he got really mad and said if someone did it again he'd bring us *ALL* to the office and chat with the principle... so then the guy confessed and he only got a warning and thats it... our schools admins and stuff dont know what they are doing :(

anyways back on topic too, i think its a good idea but there are many out there, you probobly didnt need to make your own :)

Sounds like a great idea to me. I know all about evil school blocking systems so an online editor is something I have been known to look for in hosts ;)

I'm guessing when you send a file to a computer/printer to make it display the text.

it is a way to send a "message" to every user on the network (hence the wildcard *) if you were to do net send <username> hi it would display "hi" in a box on their computer until they click ok... just with the * wildcard it sends the messge to every computer on the network. after i did it our school turned off messages (the messager service) so that you couldnt do it anymore.

of course, thats obvioulsy why they get really mad if you do it...

btw: its traceable, so i wouldnt do it unless you want to get in trouble :)
