remote MySQL

I am trying to have my another website connect to my MySQL datebase on my x10hosting account but whatever I try it does not work.


I want to have a SMF forum on my other website and I have tried changing the hostname from localhost to x10hosting and everything but it does not seem to work at all. Any ideas?

External Connections can't be made to our MySQL Server.

To connect from other sites, You MUST add the IP from which you wish to access our MySQL Server in "Remote MySQL Section" of cPanel. Also, you have to post in forums for Corey to add that IP allowing to access our MySQL Server.

Is there a specific forum that I have to post in for Corey to add the IP to the MySQL Server?

Would it be the IP for the DOMAIN, if so then I have it.
Its 209.63.57.10
