I would like to know if I can have PHP safe mode off on my site coz I'm installing a new component for my Joomla site that needs PHP safe mode off.
The installed component (Exposè Gallery 4) frontend looks fine, but I can't manage my gallery at backend by log in to it's gallery manager using the default password. After i read the manual it says that PHP safe mode must be turned off.

# safe_mode must be Off in order for Exposè to work correctly
# disable_functions directive must not include the functions exec and set_time_limit
# file_uploads must be set to On to be able to upload files from your computer

thanks

I can't log in to the gallery manager for Expose component to configure the flash gallery, add/edit images, change the frontend settings, and also some other components are not working correctly which it's finally I removed em.

This is the default frontend galery view : click here

I can add a new admin account if you wanna take a closer look.

Yes I am having the same problem.
I have a Joomla site in other free host and when I moved it to here the components doesn’t work any more.
Joomla is not working well in this host, I suppose it is a permission problem.
Admins should take a look at Joomla working.
