Request for unmetered disk space

We have hosted our cub scout pack site on x10hosting for ages. I recently had to clear out a portion of our images from pack events due to file space limits. I'd like to avoid this going forward.

Just a heads-up: that might not be quite the solution you think it is. There's a 500MB cap on image/media space, even with unmetered disk space in place, and there's an absolute limit of 50,000 inodes (files and folders combined) that "unmetered" doesn't affect at all. There's also a 10MB file size limit, so ZIPing or RARing images into event albums is a limited option as well. Free Hosting isn't a great place for an image archive, although there's plenty of space for a culled and curated collection of images that will give the "flavour" of the event(s) to a written narrative.

what x10hosting's Terms of Service (TOS) says about that cap

Personal galleries are limited to 500MB of disk space for images and videos.

x10hosting's staff have said that "personal galleries" are not the same as images used to support Web sites

such as...
"a collection of images used to enhance the written content of your Website (i.e. blog with posts that have images - or a E-commerce Website) are usually NOT classified as a 'gallery'"

"a 'gallery' is where a collection of images and/or videos are themselves the central part of the content on your Website - such as a site (page) where you put your vacation photos for you or others to view easily"

...and that's what a large collection of nothing but pictures from an event is. Captioned inline content images are treated differently, as are site design images, but a big "these are some pictures from an event" is a gallery.
