I would like to install SuiteCRM 8.7.1, I receive the following error: "Required MARIADB version greater than equal to 10.4.0 AND found version is : 10.3.39"
how can I resolve it?
Thanks!

Is there a procedure to carry out the upgrade independently, or does it have to be done by the administrators?

Thank you for the response, with a free hosting plan, what is the procedure to request it from an administrator?

I think we need to ask through this forum, as we have done, but I am not 100% sure if we have done it correctly.

You should see this running the latest version at this time.

Hi, in my case, I need the version 10.11.0. Anyone can update it please?
Thanks!!
Unfortunately, we will not be able to proceed with 10.11. The latest supported for free hosting will be version 10.6

Is there a time expected to have 10.11? When will it be available?
The initial plan was to update to 10.11. As some were being upgraded to 10.11, it was realized after the upgrade that there is a limitation on the DirectAdmin license that 10.6 is the latest supported version on the DirectAdmin license, DirectAdmin is not budging on that one as it stands, this was a decision made by DirectAdmin that unfortunately wasn’t really communicated. Unfortunately that locks out DirectAdmin usage so a license upgrade/change was forced on some servers.

Unfortunately, that is why going forward, MariaDB 10.6 will the latest version officially supported on free hosting as we won’t be able to apply anything newer.

Thanks a lot for the information, I really appreciate it .

I work with Moodle, and Moodle 5.0 requires MariaDB 10.11.0 or MySQL 8.4 or Postgres 14 or MSSQL 2017 or Oracle 19c, and now I am working with MariaDB 10.6. Is there any way to change from MARIADB to any of these other options, in any of those versions? Without loosing all the data from the databases? (Basically, doing a migration that doesn't affect Moodle's working). Maybe I should (and I will do if needed) ask in the moodle's support forums how to "tell" Moodle that I have changed the database but, what I want to ask is if there is a way to change to any of those databases without loosing the data.

Unfortunately, those options are not possible either, which also makes Moddle 5.0 incompatible with free hosting. Moodle 5.0 is also currently in development until a little bit later this year and not recommended for production use cases.
