lol, the program you want is an add-on to explorer in the extra pack MS brought out. The pack is called "powertoys" and is a free download. I had this same problem and i got this and it was amazing.
select the images, right click, resize, set size and other settings, does it for you...
that easy, i resize 300 photos in around 1.5mins... which is prity good, here's the link for it, enjoy
