i was installing my legit vbulletin and account got suspended i can provided customer number, to prove it's real

please un-suspended me

Wasn't for nulled vBulletin actually, it's showing something during the install sapped the cpu/ram at higher than the allowable limits for longer than 60s; my bet's on CPU.

It should be unsuspending shortly; the license # itself is probably already in vB's hands and pending a review to make sure it's legit. Nothing to worry about if it actually is of course; just means we update the list from 3 legitimate vB's to 4 if it comes back golden

Rebump, looks like it was indeed something with the install; it didn't finish and got hit when it was partway through. Not sure if there's a way around that; if you can actually get it past install it should be fine, but the install itself seems to be what'll make it a bit...tricky at the moment.

ok, i tried installing it again and wamo banned again what should i do?? im at 2/3

To be honest I'm not sure; 3/3 isn't bad it just means you can't unsuspend it through the account panel yourself...


One idea though is if you have WAMP or XAMPP installed locally for developing stuff, install vBulletin there, export the database, import it through phpmyadmin in the cpanel, and upload the "installed" vbulletin files. It'll need some configuration tweaking to make it work on x10hosting after installing it locally but it -should- bypass the resource problems since it wouldn't actually use x10's resources to try and install it. MOST apps have a step-by-step install too, sounds like vB doesn't and tries to do it all in one shot or something funky

I can't do much with helping out on the installing locally/moving to x10 after installing though, I dun have a vB to use and I've not honestly tried that with anything other than my own basic scripts...

so your saying to install it on my home computer, make a backup send u guys the back up and have it like restored???,

if so 1. idk how to use xamp or any of that stuff
2. idk how to make a backup lol...

Yeah if you're not sure how to use xampp then throw that out the window cause if you're trying to learn it, it's tricky. XD


Quick note on your vB license as well, it came back legit but licensed to a different domain; you'll wanna change it over to x10's at some point so it doesn't end up suspended for being unlicensed. As far as installing it goes though I'm not quite sure where to go from here to get it installed the rest of the way...

I'm gunna leave the ticket open for other advocates with ideas though; altering your original ticket title to include UNRESOLVED so folks know it has this many replies but it's still not solved fully

No worries on the license; I figured just that it -had- a valid license # was plenty for now anyways given that in the past 24hr my own scanner has found 7 that didn't even bother to put a fake one in, and 1 that flat out said it was nulled right in the file

Glad it finally finished installing; from here-out it should be okay - there's 3 other users running vB and near as I can tell they're not getting hit with the high resource stuff while it's actually -running-

No worries; gunna close the ticket since it's installed now, but if you run into other troubles (or it hits a third high resource usage and you can't get it unsuspended) open another ticket and let us know
