I was just installing a mod on my website, and it went wrong. I did back it up, but the restore thing isn't working in my C panel. I tried uncompressing it, but it gave me an error. What do I do?

Hi there,

This problem seems to need an administrator to look into it, it may be a cPanel issue and I think you'll get better responses if we put your thread there.

Oh, and I posted in your thread about FileZilla, I must have missed it when you replied, sorry bout the delay mate.

An error occurred while extracting files:

Command Line Output:

gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

Try extracting the files yourself. It appears it is corrupted.
If you need a program, google Alzip

I fixed the error, but the restore doesn't work on backups that aren't corrupted.
The C-Panel sent it to me corrupted, as I have checked back, and the last two I got are both corrupted.

Are you able to open the files cPanel sends with a program locally?

Yes, the files are fine, but it's just the backups.
