Your website is good for a start as it's simple. However, if you want to start improving your website more, you'll want to centralize it on a graphics-oriented site instead of white text on a black background.

An error I found in your coding: there is an empty tag <> after the words "Like owls." You might want to get rid of that, or center it with the rest of the text if that was placed intentionally.

A suggestion: center your guestbook to fit in with the rest of your content. It seems a little out of place on higher resolution monitors when all your text is centered, but your guestbook is all the way to the left.
