Hey guys, my site will be undergoing a massive revision soon, possibly with a more of a Web 2.0 look as well, but I was wondering what you guys think of it before I start the next revision soon. The forum is only using SMF 2.0's default theme right now, but as soon as SMF 2.0 comes out fully, I'll create my own themes for the forum. Also, can you guys give me some content suggestions and check out the consistency of the site (text, bad links, etc)? Thanks!

For anyone who wants to see a site revision, within the next few weeks I'll be putting up the site-in-progress on my home server.

It looks quite nice, but not integrated enough.

Maybe you should put a link from the forums back to the main website? Through the logo possibly?

Also if you are going to only have a few pages with your website as well as the forums then maybe you could integrate your site into the forums. As it happens there is a very useful mod for doing this. (Blatantly Selling my own mod) ;)

Also I am making a Custom Menu Mod, which will allow greater integration by allowing easy dynamic creation of a custom menu system which doesn't have to have the forums page as the default home page. Anyway, sorry about the self-promotion.

It's not a problem. I am doing a revision of my site and it is a work in progress to make it look better as well. It's going to probably be based around the same theme, or I'll add a dark blue theme and change the theme entirely. I'll probably have this revision done soon, but once I finish learning PHP and touch up on my CSS a bit, I'll code some nice looking pages that HTML would be inefficient to do.

It looks all right, but seems disjointed. Also, the bar to the left goes down too far. The best viewed in FF2 button also needs anti-aliasing.

It's mainly a personal site with my own forum on there. I'm going to have a few days free next week so I'll be adding some content/redesigning the layout of the site.

It's a nice site, I am not sure about the background though, overall 4/5. : )

I don't know why but I don't like sites that look like that, so if I gave you my vote it'd be biased.

It sucks! I think your website broke my computer as well...Nah...seriously I see where you are going and once you start really upgrading your site. Then, it could be pretty good one. As for right not you have alot of work to do. You seem to be stuck in the oldies with HTML. :p You do need a link back to your main page from the forums.

For any forum related stuff, I'm waiting for SMF 2.0 to be fully out before I start tinkering with the themes, it's still in beta. Otherwise, as for getting current, some people on my forum did suggest maybe using SMF's SSI abilities to make a site. Then again, if I brush up on my CSS more and learn PHP, I can make my own Dynamic site that isn't as screwy as HTML is.

I think that the navbar is wayy to long for the page, it stretches it out too wide, and their isn't even content covering that stretch. Maybe you could make the nav bar a little shorter?

navigation buttons are waaay to big - and the rounded corners are a little exagerrated. I would recommend having a Logo or your websites name in a separate container to make it a bit more profressional, not too keen on the "cloudy" background - try to use a simple and effective bold colour like blue and use white containers. Also your fonts arent very friendly - try to use softer ones like Arial and Verdana
