My blogging software (Blogo - mac) keeps giving errors like this when I'm simply trying to type a new post to my self-hosted wordpress blog:

I've contacted Blogo tech support, and they tell me that Blogo pulls the RSS feed from my blog's RSS discovery link so as to tell which posts are drafts. Apparently if the link takes a while to load it may time out, and "You may want to check with your web host if the issue continues."
I'm not geeky enough to understand this. Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks.
