I just finished setting up my first website using RvSiteBuilder, except I am having trouble with the Blog "Add Comment" entry fields. The fields do not have a description next to each field (just the colon character, so the user has no idea what goes into each field. I have gone through all the settings, and either I missed something, or there is a bug. What is really strange is that if I copy and paste the fields from my published page to a text editor, the field descriptions magically appear. It may be related to page layout, but I don't think that is not an editable feature, like it is for the home page for example.
1) This is what it looks like on the finished published page:

2) This is what it looks like if I copy and past the above fields from the published web page into this forum or to a text editor (This is how it is supposed to look. Notice all the extra information that was previously hidden):

Comment :
Enclosing asterisks marks text as bold (*word*), underscore are made via _word_.
Standard emoticons like colon and ;-) are converted to images.

I believe it's a text color causing the error because when I highlight the area before the text box it shows so you just need to play around with the css file to find the code where you can change that text.

Well, I know nothing about CSS or HTML, so I guess I will leave it as it is for now; I just don't have the time right now to learn that, as I am currently busy studying for an unrelated course. It figures.....it was the last thing that I needed to add. Since RVSiteBuilder does not have the option to edit that particular page using WYSIWYG, I guess they will have to fix the problem eventually.

You can always change the template look because it might just be a skin bug

SOLVED: THANKS! You hit it right on the nose. Basically it was trying to but black text on a black background....not good! Now, I suspect that RVSiteBuilder should have compensated for that. Anyway, I changed to a template with a light blue background and everything is fine now. I didn't realize you could change templates without losing all your other changes, so that is nice; I did make a backup just in case.
