There was no reason to kill him, sure he did some bad stuff but this was not the right thing to do right now. There is absolutely no reason to fight a war about it and find him, its just personal between Bush and his dad and Hussein. He deserves to die, but not by us and Iraq is not a better place because of this. It still sucks ass.

I have found a site where you can see the movie that was taped of Saddam hanging.
http://www.hannity.com/
WARNING: AS IT STATES ON THE SITE, IT SHOWS THE FULL HANGING.
I myself have not watched it. If the movie is to graphic please notify me so I can remove the link.
Just heard about it on the talk show and thought some of you may for whatever reason want to see it.

Although I love the idea of Saddam being hung (physically, none of this new hip "slang" people use to describe themselves), I can't view the movie. Something about watching another human being die just doesn't work for me.

Playing ManHunt is one thing. Watching a real life snuff film is another.

That said, that's also likely the video causing all the controversy because Saddam was being insulted and dissed just before being hung. Which wasn't supposed to happen. Which is putting our soldiers at risk because as the number of protests increase, so do the bullets fired.

And it doesn't take a genius to realize that those bullets will eventually be fired AT someone, rather than into the air.

It honestly doesn't show much. Shows him standing at the gallows ... you can hear taunts at him ... the camera moves around too much ( you see the stairs more than anything ) ... then a close up of him after he dropped.

Honestly ... just my opnion, but it looked a bit staged ... if they were filming it good, they would of shown the drop ...

Regardless it ain't exactly hollywood - the guy _is_ dead :S

That must be the film thats causing all the controversy though, supposedly it was supposed to be a quiet hanging.

Who the hell figured it'd be quiet if a crowd was present is my question. The a$$hole killed people - we aren't even quiet when our president is on TV talking about more sacrifice being needed to free the Iraqi people! I've had to replace my tv twice from throwing stuff at it cause I couldn't find the remote to get his fat face off the screen (not kidding either, thank god for cheap walmart tv's)!

Well, I'm not 100% against death sentence, I think it's fair in some cases... And I think every country should take care of it's own business...

Well my impression of the trial was that America controled the trial to force Suddam's Execution, to slience him. I've been more supportive if Iraq was giving him a fair? trial and not a trial run by the occuping force.
