I have also found the home directory totally empty and log in seems to be a greeting to a new account customer.
I also can't reply to any of the other threads in the forum covering this matter.
I assume others are seeing the same on their accounts. I'm going to suggest if it's happened to you, just hold out and wait rather than starting to add new stuff or perform backup recovery.

wish they could return the server to the previous state... was your site at chopin?? i guess its down! mine is at chopin too...
