Saying curl isn't working

I just used this method:

to check if curl was working and it says it isn't and that I should contact my webhost. Is it working?

Hi,

cURL appears to be working fine on our free hosting servers. You might want to try a different test, since the script looks to be outdated, and the website's own "live example" is also failing.
