Scripts not working on Chopin?

Hello,

As of this morning (GMT-6), all my (Python) scripts are giving "500 Internal Server Error" messages. I read on another thread that script execution was disabled by admin.

Is there an update on why this is happening, and when they will be enabled again?

CGI is down due to some issues.

Thanks for replying. I just voted. I use Python + MySQL (though at the moment I'm not using DB access). I could use PHP instead if they decided (hope not!) to disable Python for good. But *some form* of CGI scripting is absolutely necessary for my site.

I hope they fix it soon.

By the way, what are these "issues" that you speak of? Someone abusing the scripting?
