Hi everyone, as you may see, I am new to this forum even though I've been using x10Hosting for nearly a year I'd say. That being said, when you create your account, you are given a domain which results in something like : www.DomainName.x10.mx . I uploaded a website of mine on my domain of which I've chose when I sign up. Now, I want to add another website of mine using a different domain so I would not have to access it by entering www.DomainName.x10.mx/TheSecondWebsiteFolder but either by entering www.AnotherDomain.x10.mx . That being said, I'm not familiar with all these Domain command such as Add-On Domain, Parked Domain and Subdomain even though I read on the wiki about it and understood quite clearly the differences up to me. The problem is, I do not find a way to add another domain name because it requires me to (I guess) have another domain elsewhere from x10hosting of which I would like to redirect on my x10hosting account.

All that being said, is there a way to have a second domain name from x10hosting ? So that way I can have not only the first www.FirstDomain.x10.mx showing a first website but also www.SecondDomain.x10.mx showing a second website I made.

Now, I do not know if it is possible to do this and, if it is, how to but I gladly would like to know how to do so in case it is possible to do. Otherwise, I would gladly thank you all for helping me even though it can't be done (if it can't be done).

Thanks !

Anna

You are correct in assuming you would need a domain from elsewhere to set an addon domain (which is what you want given your example). There's a few different free domain providers out there from where you could get a domain if you don't want to buy one.
Once you get a hold of a domain you'd want to configure it to use our name servers which are ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com before you are able to add it to your account as an addon domain.
