Perl + sendmail sort of works.
Using cron job, it sends out the mail. Since cron jobs run as you.
From the web, it does not work for me. Silently fails. Since Apache runs as 'nobody' .
Might be because their mailserver screens the 'From' header (which is an account on my website which matches the user when run as a cron job, but is not 'nobody' when run as a web script).
Not sure if the Staff know or what their response is.
