I am on a x10 free account. I was wondering if I could SEO my site. Has any body had success with SEO on x10 free accounts?

Not since we got switched to apache servers, no. something funky with .htaccess and mod_rewite but I guess all one can do is wait for solutions.

If you had your own Domain would SEO work then? Has any body tried that or does the same .htaccess and mod_rewite problem still get in the way?

Disregard what I said, I'm pretty sure its just my own problem. But yes, if you get a domain with your account you use the same .htaccess for mod_rewrite

To answer your question, yes mod_rewrite works.
