Server down

I understand all servers have downtime and from my experience x10hosting has had very little downtime for my website for the past 6 months - which is why it's so strange that for the past 2 weeks it's been down constantly. I'm thinking there might be a problem, maybe something other than downtime - any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might do good to read Latest News and Service Alerts ( http://status.x10hosting.com ) - your intuition was right and there is indeed something going on. It's part of a server move that had some bumps on chopin in particular.

It would be nice if someone would post something like "between 12th and 16th February the server will be down due to...". I know it's easier to say "during February there will be maintenance work" but it would also be easy to make an announcement on what days the server will be down, as I would like to know when I can work on my website and when I can't.
