Server problem?

Noticed today that my x10hosted site isn't connectable. I can log into the cpanel, connect via ftp, connect to the databases with myphpadmin, webmail is working, and if I ping the site I get replies no problem. However pointing to it in IE8, Firefox or Opera doesnt work, for example, firefox returns "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server".

The site can normally be reached at the following addresses:

http://clownspocket.x10hosting.com

http://www.clownspocket.com/

Can anyone help?

Thats right, seems to be http that doesn't work. FTP and cpanel work just fine

DNS points to your account being in Chicago while chopin shows still in Dallas. Apparently the DNS moved before your account files.

If you are accessing cPanel/FTP via chopin.x10hosting.com (instead of via your domain name), that would explain why it works.

As a precaution, I would keep a local copy of any changes you make via FTP/cPanel.

Thanks for this guys, I think I understand the jist of that, I do access cpanel through chopin.x10hosting.com, didnt realise there was a way to access it through my domain name

To update, I just accessed cpanel through https://clownspocket.x10hosting.com without a problem
