Server Stability?

I cant connect to the FTP login for my site, Cossacks.x10hosting.

Also, are you allowed to share an FTP account?

Maintenance is being performed on all free servers right now, we're suspending and terminating accounts and services are being restarted periodically for this to continue, which may explain why you can't connect. Please disable multiple connections in your FTP client too, otherwise you'll get a temporary IP ban. It seems as though FTP is down on Cossacks currently, look at the service status link in my sig.

You can give FTP accounts to other people, yes. I wouldn't share one though, you may get suspended for it.

EDIT: FTP is back online, you should be good to go now.

Does this happen as often on paid servers because im using the free server as a tester to see if I should pay for the paid servers.

Everyday the FTP or Apache HTTP has gone offline on Cossacks ever since I have signed up to my knowledge, is this supposed to happen because im quite sure servers wouldn't need maintenance every day :dunno:

The paid servers are very stable as there are far fewer accounts and no abusers.
