Server update time

Is it true that it can take 2 or 3 days for the server to update?

Can you clarify what you're referring to? Which part of the server updating are you talking about?

If you are referring to the amount of time it can take for setting up a domain name then it can take UP TO that long, yes, but I've had updates take effect in a matter of minutes before - there are no hard and fast rules for determining how long it will take.

Alternatively if you're not referring to that, whatever it is probably doesn't take 2 or 3 days to update, no.
