I never asked for your opinion.

I asked (if you look back) if the servers were down.

Also: this site is directed at a specific community. It's not suitable for people with professional preferences.

It's not about professional preferences, it's about blowing people's ears out without warning. There are sites where autoplay is expected (YouTube-style video pages, internet "radio" stations and so on), but nobody should ever be hit with sound without warning. It can damage ears and equipment, can startle people into accidents, can wake their families/neighbours, etc. It's wrong. Period. Get used to it.
