I recently created my x10 domain and website, and I uploaded my html files to public_html. I changed the name of one of my files to index.html, as this is often the default name recognized by servers. After doing all of this, and verifying that there weren't any html files unaccounted for in *any* of my ftp folders, I'm still getting the default nginx page. If anyone knows what I need to do about it, your help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi thehiris,

Your x10host.com domain is currently loading your index.html file fine. Are you still having this problem?

Thank you,

I managed to fix the problem. I created and logged into an ftp profile under the "my websites" page. I proceeded to upload my html files to the directory I accessed. After that, my site worked. What's weird is when I tried to do the exact same thing (uploading to public_html) with the default ftp account, my site didn't work. But when I tried it the alternate way, it did, even though the files were uploaded to the same directory. The one difference I noticed is when I created the other ftp account which accesses the public_html directory, a new file .ftpquota was created. I don't know how or if that file makes a difference, by my site works now. Thanks.
