When I try to install media wiki. Is there a workaround this, because i requested advance php a week ago and I didn't get it. Now I know the php advance is only given to advance users and not many have it, so how can I install media wiki, on intermediate php.

Are you aware of how and what the script is using shell_exec() for? It may be possible to just "comment out" line 1822 in the index.php file, without losing a great deal of functionality.
