am looking for a free or affordable shopping cart where the customer can customise there product with there logo or size or even change the text on a product is there any shopping cart that could offer this?

I use Zen Cart. Free software. You can use "product attributes", "notes", or one of several add ons to achieve what you are asking. They have good tutorials and forums as well.

Agree with carl. Zen cart is pretty good, with great features and easy to set up configuration. There is a site that displays Zencart's features and functions. I suggest you should check this site of shopping cart software, they have also an information about a lot more other shopping cart software.
